Base -> Shadows -> Highlights. Every layer is a solid color, every single component is animated.

CONFIGURATION.

After A LOT of confusion and frustration, I found that connecting the joints by parenting them to their rightful place helps tremendously. Without it, everything would be a mess.

KEYFRAMES AND GRAPHS.

This is where the animating happens, this is solely based on timing and assumption.

TEXTURE.

Still learning about new ways to implement texture. So far I’ve found various enhancements on After Effects like blur, posterization, and filmic coloring. But my favorite method is the texture that painting each frame produces on photoshop.
